Itinerary

When we think of New York, our mind inevitably conjures up one of the most important symbols of the Big Apple: the Brooklyn Bridge. Since 1883, this impressive structure (which was for a long time the longest suspension bridge in the world) has connected the island of Manhattan to the Brooklyn neighborhood. Thanks to this tour, you’ll have the chance to relive New York’s history as you navigate through Dumbo and Seaport, culminating in an unforgettable sunset walk across the bridge.

The tour consists of two parts: in the first part, the Urban Explorer will take you to the heart of Brooklyn (a subway ride at your own expense, $3), where you will have the opportunity to explore the Dumbo neighborhood, with the Wall Street skyscrapers in the background, and fully enjoy the Downtown skyline. As the sunset approaches, you will move towards the bridge where you will begin a splendid walk towards Seaport Village (the historical heart of Manhattan) surrounded by unforgettable plays of lights and colors. The tour ends at Seaport Village, but not before visiting the beautiful neighborhood nestled among skyscrapers, sailboats, and restaurants, where you can decide to spend the evening.

The tour is fully cancellable and 100% refundable up to 48 hours before the selected date by emailing info@ilmioviaggioanewyork.com. After this deadline, or in case of a no-show, a 100% penalty of the price paid applies, and no refund or changes are allowed.
In case of your delay, illness, or other personal unforeseen events—even for just one participant—no refund will be provided, and a 100% penalty will apply.
When possible, the company may, at its sole discretion and as a courtesy, offer participation on another date or allow you to rejoin the group by taxi at your own expense. Traffic and unexpected events may occur; it is recommended to depart well in advance.
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, customers will be contacted within 12 hours of the service using the provided contact details to arrange a rescheduling or receive a full refund. If contact cannot be made, a full refund will be issued automatically.
The tour itinerary may vary during holidays or special events.
The tour remains active in case of rain or snow. In case of force majeure, you will be contacted.
Tips for the guide are not included and are recommended.
The tour takes place on foot. A subway ride is required to reach Brooklyn at your own expense (approximately $3 per person).
The tour may be multilingual.
During our tours, smoking is strictly prohibited, including all types of smoking devices.

FAQs

The tour proceeds as scheduled in case of rain or snow. We offer the option to change the date up to 48 hours before. Later on, we do not make any changes. In case of heavy rain, we substitute crossing the bridge with a visit to the Wall St. area.

We recommend arriving 15 minutes early. Traffic and unexpected events can always happen, so arrive early. If the tour has already started, we offer the option to join the tour by taxi at your expense or to reschedule the tour for another date, if possible. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

Escursione molto bella ed interessante. La guida, Andrea, con i suoi affascinanti racconti, ci ha fatto scoprire gli angoli più suggestivi di questa parte di New York. Siamo stati completamente immersi nella cultura pop americana con competenza e simpatia. Passeggiata davvero molto consigliata.

Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti.
